Vital Education specializes in American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR training. This training is the correct choice for undergrad and graduate students entering into medical programs at their school, or for any healthcare provider whose job requires a current BLS CPR card for work, such as nurses, EMTs, therapists, dentists and dental hygienists. CPR classes are held at our Champaign training center or at your place of business.
We are an authorized American Heart Association training center, and our classes are based on current best practices and techniques as outlined by the American Heart Association. Our instructors are passionate about teaching and have a wide range of experience in the healthcare and emergency medicine fields. Students who complete the course receive a certification card at the end of class that remains valid for two years.
American Heart Association CPR Training for Healthcare Providers
We offer two (2) class options for AHA BLS CPR for Healthcare Providers.
- Our full, instructor-led course is typically around 3 hours long and perfect for those who are new to Healthcare CPR, or have an expired BLS CPR certification of 6 months or more.
- Our HeartCode BLS CPR is a great option for those who are repeat BLS students, current with BLS certification. This option allows you to do coursework online and attend a shortened in-person session where your skills are tested with an instructor. You receive the same card for either choice.
Fire and Rescue Department BLS CPR Training
Classes are available for individuals, first responders, and entire departments. Continuing education credits are also available.
