The cost of a CPR class in Illinois varies depending on the type of training you choose, the method you select (classes can be offered online or in person), and even the reputation of the person or organization providing the training. Vital Education is an American Heart Association authorized training center, providing CPR training to healthcare providers, childcare providers, first responders, fitness instructors, new parents…basically anyone who wants to learn these important life-saving skills. We offer classes at our Champaign location, and can provide training at your location as well. Our classes are based on the American Heart Association’s current best practice techniques.
Vital Education’s CPR classes are suitable for individuals or groups, with group classes priced at a better rate compared to individual classes. For large groups (3 or more), we do ask that you contact our training center to get a quote. Students who complete the course receive a certification card at the end of the class that remains valid for two years.
What Sets Us Apart from Other Online Classes
While some of our classes are advertised as online classes, we do still require that students meet with an instructor for certification. These classes are offered in a blended format, with students completing a portion of the class online, then meeting with an instructor in person to complete the certification process. This is accepted by DCFS and other governing bodies.
Unfortunately, some less reputable providers use tactics that can mislead people looking for CPR training. Some online companies may advertise classes in your area, only for you to find out later that they are based in another state and can’t provide in-person training. Additionally, some websites may appear to offer free classes, only to redirect you to a paid option once you’ve entered their site.
